This 14-week Introduction to Academic Writing course also provides a direct route to the BA programmes for students without traditional academic qualifications.
This course is for anybody who wishes to improve their academic writing skills. Who wants to improve their ability to communicate effectively and appropriately in academic contexts. This includes students beginning undergraduate study, those returning to education after a break or those moving from other education systems.
The course also provides a pathway for potential BA (Hons) Primary Education and BA (Hons) Secondary Education (Maths and SEND) candidates who do not have the two A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications) required for entry. By successfully completing the course, individuals without Level 3 qualifications can demonstrate their ability to succeed at degree level and become eligible to apply.

No prior qualifications required.
